Sam van der Wouden-Diedericks

I am SamShakti, a South African artist living in the Netherlands, shaped by mountain winds, multicultural rhythms, and the sacred geometry of nature.

My practice encompasses painting, drawing, sculpture, gelatin & linoprinting, and ceramics: each medium a vessel for transformation, hybridity, and emotional resonance. With a Master’s in Fine Art and a background in communication, public relations, and graphic design, I bring clarity and depth to visual storytelling.

I teach art in my studio, guide movement through yoga and Groove dancing, and create spaces where body, mind, and spirit converge. Fractals, color, and sound are my compass. My work invites viewers into layered worlds—where identity is fluid, culture is woven, and every mark is a breath of becoming.
